Dr. Shalom Akili is a San Diego native raised in a single parent household. Earned an athletic scholarship and degree at Long Beach State, Master's at Azusa Pacific University, and doctoral degree at Argosy University. With an extensive knowledge, teaches health & exercise science courses at the community college level. Dr. Akili explored the Net-Generation (Millennial) student and why students' stay in college. Additionally, writing a Health & Exercise Science curriculum teaching high school students 5 Lifelong Lessons: Leadership, Followership, Team Building & Organization, Communication, and Trust.
